In 2005, after 6+ years of working as an Operations Consultant with A.T. Kearney, Charles founded Harthan Consulting Group, LLC, now Advanced Operations Partners™. Charles’ knowledge and experience with operational transformation has led to the development of many strong client relationships, and Advanced Operations Partners has become a trusted operations and management consultancy for many companies.

As a Principal in A.T. Kearney’s Operations Practice, Charles led supply chain and operations management initiatives for global and/or Fortune 500 clients in a wide range of industries including consumer products, aerospace & defense, energy, technology & software, and medical devices / healthcare. Prior to consulting, Charles worked in industry for six years at Bausch & Lomb and Ocean Spray in various operations and manufacturing leadership positions.

Charles holds an M.B.A. from Cornell University where he was a Park Leadership Fellow and earned a Dean’s Certificate in Financial Engineering. Additionally, Charles holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Charles has been a member of The Association for Operations Management (APICS) since 1995 where he has been certified in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) and in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). Charles has co-authored and published several operations articles.
