Charles HarthanIn 2005, after 6+ years of working as an Operations Consultant with A.T. Kearney, Charles founded Harthan Consulting Group, LLC, now Advanced Operations Partners.  Charles’ knowledge and experience with operational transformation has led to the development of many strong client relationships, and Advanced Operations Partners has become a trusted operations and management consultancy for many companies.

As a Principal in A.T. Kearney’s Operations Practice, Charles led supply chain and operations management initiatives for global and/or Fortune 500 clients in a wide range of industries including consumer products, aerospace & defense, energy, technology & software, and medical devices / healthcare.  Prior to consulting, Charles worked in industry for six years at Bausch & Lomb and Ocean Spray in various operations and manufacturing leadership positions.
Charles holds an M.B.A. from Cornell University where he was a Park Leadership Fellow and earned a Dean’s Certificate in Financial Engineering.  Additionally, Charles holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Charles has been a member of The Association for Operations Management (APICS) since 1995 where he has been certified in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) and in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
